A combine-up at a Simi Valley bridal retail store resulted in a law enforcement lookup for two females who had been selecting up a wedding ceremony gown they bought.
On Thursday morning, police place out a message on Fb, inquiring for the public’s assistance to identify two ladies who they stated stole a wedding ceremony dress from a bridal shop on April 9.
The Simi Valley Police Division shared a surveillance image of the two women, stating they posed as owners of a costume that was prepared for select up, took it and drove off in a Tesla.
But a couple of hrs following police posted the graphic, which was shared by many news retailers, the operator of the retailer advised KTLA in an electronic mail that the incident was a “coincidence of names.”
The Police Section retracted the information Thursday afternoon.
“It is necessary for the group to fully grasp that occasionally right after suspected crimes are described, new information is provided that clarifies an occasion,” police wrote on Fb. “In this situation, the two people in the photograph have been cleared of any wrongdoing. They did not commit a felony act, exhibit malice, or civil misconduct.”
No even further details were available on how the blend-up transpired.
